Now that you've become familiar with the 13 Original Colonies, it is your turn to make some decisions! Pretend you are a colonist fresh off the ship from England. Your family will join you in a few months, and it is your job to tell them where you should live. Using the information you have learned about the 13 Colonies, choose the one you think would best fit your "family."
Write a 2 paragraph (3-5 sentences each) letter to your family back in England describing their new home colony. This description should include at least 5 accurate facts about your chosen colony. Remember to think about your family's religion and work experience, as well as anything else that makes one colony more appealing than another. The letter needs to be hand-written not typed.
